Cornwall : Day 2 - Fowey

first thing in the morning, me & ina went to Fowey when the tide was in. there are a few options to get to Fowey from where we were staying in Pont, Lonteglos by Fowey.
1. take the boat to cross the river - take about 5 minutes
2. drive to Boddinick (10 minutes) and take the ferry
3. walk for half hour to Polruan and take the boat/ferry
4. if u miss the last ferry or no ferry service, then  you will have to drive 35 minutes round the loop

it was quite foggy first thing in the morning and it cleared up. we crossed the river on the boat and then walked round the shops.

Readymoney cottage near Fowey was home to English author, Daphne du Maurier. she moved to Fowey in 1942 and lived in Cornwall until she died in 1989.  unfortunately I haven't read her book, unlike Jane Austen's.
